Sponsorship Overview

Sponsorship Benefits

The Leaders Institute of South Australia achieves the success it has in leadership development in partnership with its generous sponsors. These organisations have recognised the importance of wiser leaders for our State, and in particular the unique approach the Leaders Institute takes to ensure this growth is significant and sustainable.

Sponsorship of the Leaders Institute of South Australia means being a part of developing wiser leaders for our state. It also means association with an organisation that has established itself as a nationally recognised driver of innovative leadership growth and sustainable change for individuals, organisations and society. We offer our corporate partners strong alignment and meaningful engagement with the Leaders Institute's highly respected and credible brand.

Here are some thoughts on leadership and supporting the Leaders Institute of SA, from some of our fabulous sponsors:

Erma Ranieri
A/CEO Department of Premier and Cabinet and Commissioner for Public Sector, Office for the Public Sector

The unfolding challenges of our State require strong and collective leadership across all levels of the public sector. As a sector we are focussed on helping the people and businesses of South Australia, and getting the best social and economic outcomes for our State.

We see leadership not as a title, role or position, but an action. Our leadership must be thoughtful and courageous. We must act with wisdom and a sound depth of mind.

The unique opportunities provided by the Leaders Institute of South Australia foster these attributes so that leaders in our sector can take action for our State in an adaptable and meaningful way.

I am pleased that a number of current and aspiring public sector leaders have participated in the Governor's Leadership Foundation Program, run by the Leaders Institute. This program plays a valuable role in broadening perspectives and growing leaders to meet our State's diverse challenges.

I am thrilled that the Department of the Premier and Cabinet supports the Pastor Sir Doug Nicholls and Lady Gladys Nicholls Indigenous Scholarship. This is a fantastic initiative, because it not only supports the development of the recipient, but it also enriches the learning experience of the other participants.  I am also proud that we support the development of leaders with a disability or working in the disability sector of the South Australian Government.

We are proud to work with the Leaders Institute to develop our leaders into people who can make a difference to our sector and lead South Australia into the future.

Professor David Lloyd
Vice-Chancellor, University of South Australia

As Australian positions itself in the changing global economy it is imperative that we develop opportunities for existing and emerging business leaders to help guide our future prosperity. The University of South Australia was very happy to form an alliance with the Leaders Institute in 2016 to create an opportunity to expand leadership development and develop wiser leaders for this State.

We have supported the Governor’s Leadership Foundation (GLF) since its earliest days. As a University of Enterprise we foster leadership and innovation at all levels. We educate our students for leadership roles and those of our staff who have been through the GLF program have had a unique learning opportunity. They are better leaders as a result of the experience and have brought an informed and energetic approach to solving the adaptive challenges of our organisation and the community we serve.

Being exposed to high profile and successful South Australians gives future leaders the opportunity to network and learn and find that fine and environmental factors. The new partnership is a significant step in our Business School’s mission to support the development of leaders in all sections of the economy in growing their own careers and well as growing the South Australian companies and organisations that will create a vibrant future for the State.

Darren Ball FGLF07
Partner, Financial Services Audit, KPMG

As a proud sponsor of the Leaders Institute, KPMG strongly supports The Governor's Leadership Foundation program, which provides a unique learning opportunity, preparing talented South Australians to be active, engaged and community minded leaders. In a world where the only thing constant is change, we need to equip our future leaders to take on the challenges faced by the disruption to our economy and be flexible and innovative in creating and seizing opportunities that will put South Australia on a path to success. We should be proud of what we achieve as a state and not shy away from taking our place on the national and global stage.

Leaders with courage, confidence and talent realise that we hold the keys to our own success and take action. In this regard, we value the work of The Governor’s Leadership Foundation program which plays a pivotal role in developing the leaders of tomorrow.
